The North Florida Wildflower Festival is held annually on the last Saturday of April. The festival promotes wildflowers and gardening, and features plant and gardening vendors, demonstrations, and kids activities.
The event is organized by the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Florida Wildflower Foundation, Florida Panhandle Wildflower Alliance, University of Florida IFAS, RiverWay South Choctawhatchee Apalachicola, and the Native Plant Society/Magnolia Chapter.
We welcome wildflower and gardening-themed products, plants, culinary herbs, trees/shrubs, outdoor arts and crafts, yard art, organic and nature-themed products.
Calhoun County 4-H will offer FREE kids activities! Guides will also take those interested on wildlife viewing tours along the Blountstown Greenway.
The festival will be held on Magnolia Square in downtown Blountstown, FL from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. CENTRAL time.
